BAPTISM

Registered and regularly participating Catholic parishioners who wish to celebrate the Sacrament of Baptism for their child, must complete a yellow baptismal information form located in the Gathering Area of the church to begin the baptism preparation. We ask that you introduce yourself to Fr. Joe and give him the completed form, or place it in the collection basket while at Mass, or bring to the parish office. Please allow at least a couple of months prior to your requested baptism date. The celebration of Baptism is usually held the second Sunday of each month at 12:30pm. If you are not a registered member of Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, we ask that you take a moment and register yourself and family by completing a blue registration form. If you belong to another parish, please request a pastoral permission from from the parish priest and attach it to our registration form. Do not assume that you are registered with our parish because you celebrated sacraments in your earlier years.

Adults looking to receive the Sacrament of Baptism, Holy Communion and Confirmation are asked to contact the parish or speak to Fr. Joe to learn more about the RCIA program (Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults). This process usually begins in September for the celebration to take place during the Easter season in the following year.

PLEASE NOTE ALL BAPTISMS TAKE PLACE AT 12:30pm or as discussed with the parish office and Fr. Joe and all documentation has been received.

ANOINTING OF THE SICK

The Sacrament of the Sick may be administered to the faithful at several times in their lives. It is not just a sacrament of the dying in preparation of death. A priest can offer the sacrament to a loved one:
*when they are sick with a serious physical illness
*whenever a lengthy or chronic illness worsens
*before they have non-minor surgery
*who suffers from physical weakness which is debilitating
*who begins to be in danger due to mental or psychological illness
*who is need of spiritual healing
If you or a loved one is in need of the Sacrament of the Sick, please contact Fr. Joe by calling the parish office or by email to set up an appointment.
Hospitalization of our parishioners: If you or a loved one is in the hospital, speak to the chaplain and they will contact the priest on call or you may call our parish office.
